Johana Fernanda Sánchez Jaramillo, human animal, woman of color and sentient. Fernanda has a doctorate in law from the University of Rosario in Columbia. She is a summa cum laude lawyer, community organizer and journalist. Fernanda also has a master in international relations, and she is a social community worker.

Fernanda is a member of the Animal Law Lawyer organization based in the United Kingdom. She is also a researcher and academic activist, who advocates for the rights of animals, Mother Earh, and Indigenous communities. She has authored ten books and hundred of academic journals, both in English and Spanish, and speaks internationally.
